Sir PC

Death is the destiny of everyman. Death is a reality that must come when it must come. For you Sir Pius C. Anusim, this is it. When the sad news filtered in that PC (as we fondly call him ) was gone, I shouted, What a loss! A great loss indeed for in my close association with PC, I witnessed a man with unparalleled generosity , unmatched kindness, unequalled readiness to make sacrifices and use his hard earned wealth to put smiles into the faces of other people. If you don’t have enough funds to start a business, go to PC; You need financial aid for education, mention it to PC; You are a JJC in Lagos with no accommodation, move down to PC’s residence; your resources are dried up for your project, whisper it to PC. That’s the real ‘’ONYE-AKA-UMUNNA’’ for you . Right from the time PC married from my kindred, Duruemezie Ohohia-Mbieri, our two families have become so close so attached. I remember with nostalgic emotion one indelible incident in our relationship. PC saw a little structure I was battling with in the village, a week later he deposited for me at the site all the doors and ceiling boards required for the house without saying a word to me. How do I say goodbye to such a friend, nay such a brother and inlaw. PC my entire family mourn your demise and miss your relationship. However, we accept the reality that your time has come for the Bible tells us that there is a time for everything. To Lady Ednah Anusim and family and the larger Anusim family accept our heartfelt commiseration and may you all remain strong, trusting in the Lord. May his gentle soul rest in Perfect Peace in the Lord Jesus Christ. Prof. B.E.C.Oguzie & Family.
